Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Boone Grove

Boone Grove extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-9. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Mustangs & Fillies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Lauren Voudrie went supernova, getting 39 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August.

Boone Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in three consecutive games.

As for Kouts, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15. Mustangs & Fillies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Boone Grove since Tuesday.

Kouts' loss came despite strong showings from Bella Birky and Erin Stewart. Birky had 23 digs and three aces, while Stewart had 14 kills, eight digs, and three aces. Birky is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Coming up, Boone Grove will face off against Morgan Township at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kouts, they will challenge DeMotte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
