Volleyball Recap: Minisink Valley's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Minisink Valley was the 3-0 winner over Warwick when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

While Minisink Valley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Sophia Escobar paced Minisink Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Escobar got some help from Anhjela Jackson and her 11 assists. Finally, Natalie Barina kept Minisink Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Minisink Valley fell to 3-1. As for Warwick, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Minisink Valley will host Cornwall Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warwick, they will venture away from home to take on Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
