Softball Recap: Haverhill Takes a Loss

Haverhill lost against Central Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hillies took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Hillies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gianna Pistone (2027) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brookelyn Blais (2028), who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Haverhill now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Central Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Haverhill will square off against Billerica Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Catholic, they will face off against Lawrence at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
