Wildwood came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 21-3 to the Pennsville Memorial Eagles. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Wildwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pennsville Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pennsville Memorial beat Wildwood by a score of 22-3 later that day.
