Winslow owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against the Holbrook Roadrunners as they made off with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kyah Wilcox was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylie Sharp, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ara Leonard, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Winslow kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Winslow's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Holbrook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Winslow has already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Empire on the 29th. As for Holbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Monument Valley on the 29th.
