Meanwhile, Spring Lake can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Wayland as they made off with a 35-14 victory. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Spring Lake's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Forest Hills Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Forest Hills Eastern didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Spring Lake in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 34-28 victory.
