Lakeview waltzed into their match on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northwood Gators 64-37. Lakeview has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Northwood, too.

Northwood's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jahari Mccoy, who posted ten points and six steals. Mccoy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Tinsley, who put up ten points and six boards.

Lakeview is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Northwood, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-5.

Lakeview has already played their next contest (against Montgomery), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northwood has already played their next match, a 49-30 win against St. Mary on the 24th.
