Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Paul's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 48-34 bruising from the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

St. Paul's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for UMS-Wright Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

St. Paul's Episcopal will be home for the holidays to greet LeFlore at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Baker at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Baker's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
