Basketball Game Preview: Fremont Eagles vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

Fremont is 2-8 against Adams Central since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Fremont Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Adams Central Flying Jets at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Fremont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-55 to Prairie Heights.

Meanwhile, Adams Central had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Tipton with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 63-46. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Flying Jets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 76th).

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Adams Central, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Fremont might still be hurting after the 80-58 defeat they got from Adams Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Fremont avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
