With a playoff win on the line, Choctawhatchee rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They never let the Fort Walton Beach Vikings get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. Considering the Indians have won seven matchups by more than 20 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Choctawhatchee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diaris Morales, who threw for 185 yards and three TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Shilah Borden, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Choctawhatchee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tishelle Boweles and Ariana Gonzales.

The victory made it two in a row for Choctawhatchee and bumps their season record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Fort Walton Beach, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Choctawhatchee and Fort Walton Beach are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Indians will challenge Booker T. Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Choctawhatchee 9.3, the Wildcats 11) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Fort Walton Beach, they will venture away from home to take on Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
