Recap: Normal West Wildcats vs. East St. Louis Flyers
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last seven games, The Normal West Wildcats finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were dealt a 54-7 loss at the hands of East St. Louis. Normal West was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-0.
Larevious Woods had a dynamite game for East St. Louis, rushing for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Rico Bond also helped out as he racked up 127 receiving yards.
Normal West's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for East St. Louis, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Normal West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East St. Louis also has no future games currently scheduled.
