Volleyball Recap: Ahoskie Christian Triumphs

Ahoskie Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hertford County Bears by a score of 2-0.

Kinsley Dunlow paced Ahoskie Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Dunlow got some help from Kenley King and her 11 assists. Myah Bradley controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Ahoskie Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hertford County, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Ahoskie Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Northeast Academy on the 16th. As for Hertford County, they will head out on the road to take on Gates County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
