Basketball Recap: Westmont Comes Up Short

Westmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 60-38 to the West Chicago Wildcats. If the Sentinels were looking for revenge after losing 47-32 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Chicago, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Westmont will challenge Universal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Chicago, they will take on Wheaton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
