Baseball Recap: Bothell Cougars vs. Juanita Ravens
Bothell won against Juanita on Wednesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Cougars came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 5-2. The Cougars have beaten the Ravens the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Ravens has come to flipping the script.

Bothell got a great performance from Jarrett Tyler as he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. What's more, Tyler posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Gavin McClaren was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Fischer, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
The victory got Bothell back to even at 7-7. As for Juanita, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bothell will face off against Lake Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Juanita, they will square off against Kentlake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Ravens' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
