Football Recap: Floyd Central Takes a Loss

Floyd Central lost against Pike County Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars took a 44-28 bruising from the Hawks.

Although Floyd Central took the loss, they still got scores from Ethan Curry, Wesley Buck, Ketrin Mays, and Elijah Little.

Floyd Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pike County Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Floyd Central and Pike County Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Jaguars see the field they'll take on Betsy Layne at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Pike County Central, their break will end when they face Prestonsburg at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
