It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over Dunlap. Winning may never get old, but Blue Island Eisenhower sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Blue Island Eisenhower's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Oak Lawn and 3-5 Reavis (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 36.7% over those games). As for Dunlap, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Blue Island Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dunlap also has no future games currently scheduled.
