Recap: Pulaski Academy Bruins vs. Lake Hamilton Wolves
The Pulaski Academy Bruins's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 26-21 W over Lake Hamilton. That's another feather in the cap for Pulaski Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The critical scores for Pulaski Academy came from Walt Smiley, Nate Thomas, and Walden Culpepper.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Coy Autrey, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Murphy also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.
Pulaski Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Lake Hamilton, Greenbrier, and Siloam Springs. As for Lake Hamilton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Pulaski Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Dorado is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Lake Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
