Saint Mary fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Pasadena on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pasadena Bulldogs. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Saint Mary's fell to 11-1. As for Pasadena, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Mary's and Gahr will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
