Ripon Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-2 to the Riverbank Bruins on Tuesday. The matchup was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Ripon Christian couldn't quite close it out.

Collin Lecain and Colton Veldstra scored both of Ripon Christian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Riverbank's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-3.
