Basketball Recap: Clover Park Comes Up Short

Clover Park was the 49-26 winner over Foster when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Timberwolves fell 47-35 to the Bulldogs on Monday.

Loss or not, Clover Park got some senior leadership from Fa'aluaina Salanoa and Andralynne Harless. Salanoa shot 43% from the field en route to 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Harless dropped a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards.

Foster can attribute much of their success to Moenaea Allen, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Delina Zeray, who scored ten points.

Clover Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Clover Park will venture away from home to challenge Federal Way at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foster, they will host Renton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
