Softball Recap: Camanche Takes a Loss

Camanche managed to slip by West Branch the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 11-2 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Camanche's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for West Branch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camanche will head out to face off against Anamosa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Branch, they will venture away from home to challenge Tipton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
