Soccer Recap: Greenbrier's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

While Greenbrier's win against Northwest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Greenbrier never let Northwest get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. Greenbrier wouldn't have won without Krystian Lopez-Miguel, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Greenbrier and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Northwest, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Greenbrier will host White House-Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they are taking a road trip to square off against Kenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Northwest's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
