Basketball Recap: Britton-Hecla Takes a Loss

Britton-Hecla lost against Milbank back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Britton-Hecla Braves took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milbank Bulldogs. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Britton-Hecla's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Milbank, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

The future could be bright for both Britton-Hecla and Milbank: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Britton-Hecla will try to hand Redfield their third-straight loss when the two meet at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Milbank will try to hand Lac qui Parle Valley their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
