Basketball Recap: East Bernard Skates Past Non Varsity Tournament Opponent with Ease

On Friday, the East Bernard Brahmas took their match with ease, bagging a 51-14 win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent. The Brahmas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

East Bernard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashlynn Lemos led the charge by putting up 15 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Lemos is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lily Alexander, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 boards.

East Bernard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 15 consecutive games.

East Bernard has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
