Basketball Recap: Ar-We-Va Drops Season-High Score on IKM/Manning

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ar-We-Va). They took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging a 73-19 victory over the IKM/Manning Wolves. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rockets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Wolves are ranked 145th).

Ar-We-Va's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for IKM/Manning, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Ar-We-Va will be playing at home against River Valley on Thursday. As for IKM/Manning, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-36 loss against Underwood on the 28th.
