A well-balanced attack led Limon over Deer Trail in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Limon Badgers blew the Deer Trail Eagles out of the water with a 70-10 final score. With that victory, the Badgers brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Limon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Scherrer, who posted 11 points. What's more, Scherrer also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joe White, who had nine points and three steals.
