Volleyball Recap: Del City Comes Up Short

Del City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Newcastle Racers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Del City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Newcastle, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del City will head out to challenge Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newcastle, they will face off against Duncan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
