Football Recap: Seminary Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Seminary had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 40-14 to the West Lauderdale Knights.

Travion Mosley went supernova For West Lauderdale., rushing for 217 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns Mosley has posted since back in October of 2024. Braylon Dixon was another key player, rushing for 49 yards and one score.

The win got West Lauderdale back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminary will head out to face off against Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Lauderdale, they will venture away from home to challenge Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
