Softball Recap: Hill-Murray Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hill-Murray won against Mahtomedi on Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Hastings Raiders with a sharp 9-2 win. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Hill-Murray's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hastings, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Hill-Murray will take on Mahtomedi at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Zephyrs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.93 runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Hastings has already played their next game (against Rosemount), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
