Football Recap: Oak Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oak Park lost against North Farmington back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights lost to the Raiders on the road by a 21-6 margin. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Justen McReynolds threw for 52 yards. On the ground, Tre Hawkins rushed for 63 yards.

A big part of North Farmington's victory came down to the chemistry between Elijah Cobb and his top target Terrance James. Cobb threw for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes while James gained 172 total yards.

Oak Park has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for North Farmington, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Oak Park will take on Lake Orion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Farmington, they will challenge Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
