Volleyball Recap: Imlay City Find Success

Imlay City's tournament run continued when they took on Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Oilers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Imlay City never let Mt. Pleasant on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Imlay City's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Imlay City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brown City at 5:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will square off against DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
