Volleyball Recap: Kittson Central/Lancaster Takes a Loss

If Kittson Central/Lancaster was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Goodridge/Grygla on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats fell just short of the Barnesville Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kaydence White paced Kittson Central/Lancaster's offense, picking up 17 kills. White got some help from Afton Lindgren and her 15 assists. Nadia Neumiller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kittson Central/Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Barnesville, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

Kittson Central/Lancaster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Park Rapids on the 4th. As for Barnesville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Perham on the 4th.
