Basketball Game Preview: Little Elm Lobos vs. Lewisville Farmers

The Little Elm Lobos will venture away from home to face off against the Lewisville Farmers at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Elm will be strutting in after a win while Lewisville will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Little Elm didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Marcus, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory.

Raniyah Hunt had a dynamite game for Little Elm, going 8 for 16 en route to 18 points. What's more, Hunt also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Shiloh Kimpson, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lewisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Guyer and fell 76-39. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Wildcats are ranked third).

Little Elm is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-22 record this season. As for Lewisville, their loss dropped their record down to 13-19.

Everything went Little Elm's way against Lewisville when the teams last played back in January, as Little Elm made off with a 70-50 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Little Elm since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
