Football Recap: White Sulphur Springs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 71 points the game before, White Sulphur Springs was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Shields Valley Rebels and fell 62-13. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Leading Shields Valley to victory were Robbie Anderson and Wyatt Dunkel. Anderson rushed for 107 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries, while Dunkel gained 108 total yards and two touchdowns. Anderson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 107 every time he's taken the field this season. Dawson Matzinger got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

White Sulphur Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shields Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.
