Blanco waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins...and they left with three. They came out on top against the Llano Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1.

Blanco had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final set scores came out to 24-26, 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blanco to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamryn Gaskamp, who had 49 assists and 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Briley Myers, who had 22 digs and 13 kills.

The loss wasn't for lack of effort from Carlie Bartlett, who prevented things from getting worse by getting 29 assists, 20 digs, and four aces. The team also got some help from Renner Lilie, who had 21 digs, 10 kills, and three solo blocks.

Blanco has now won three of their last four games on the road. That's given a healthy boost to their 20-14 record this season. As for Llano, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

Blanco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Florence on the 9th. After both having extra time off, Llano and Comfort will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
