It was a good run, but Bishop Garrigan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to the Pocahontas Indians. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 8-4 to the Indians when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bishop Garrigan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Pocahontas, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Bishop Garrigan has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Lake Mills on the 20th. As for Pocahontas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 win against Sioux Central on the 20th.
