Pattonsburg extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They took down the King City Wildkats 58-42. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered an 88-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pattonsburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gage Fortner, who threw for 357 yards and six touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Those 357 passing yards gave Fortner a new career-high. Camden Griffith was another key receiver, picking up 202 receiving yards and four scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, King City fell to 5-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why King City lost, don't look at Graham Medsker Iv. Despite the final result, he rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Medsker Iv continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Carlson, who rushed for 49 yards and one TD.
