Basketball Recap: Springboro Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Springboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wayne Warriors on Thursday, sneaking past 45-43. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Warriors are ranked 57th).

Springboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Wayne, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springboro will take on Walnut Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wayne, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northmont at 7:30 p.m.
