Basketball Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short

Chrisman won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were beaten by the Belton Pirates 55-20. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Chrisman now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Belton, with the win, they broke their 12-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-11.

Chrisman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-30 defeat against Raytown South on the 21st. As for Belton, they will take on Ruskin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belton is facing Ruskin at the right time seeing as Ruskin is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
