Highland waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Millbrook Wildcats by a score of 61-53. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 72-69 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Millbrook still got an impressive performance from Ashton King, who went 7 of 14 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. King's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Bowen, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Millbrook, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-40 win against Westchester on the 28th. As for Millbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-45 loss against Green Level on the 28th.
