 The Elyria Catholic Panthers will head out on the road to  face off against  the North Olmsted Eagles at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Elyria Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8  runs per game  this season.
 Elyria Catholic will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one  run  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Westlake  on Saturday. Everything went Elyria Catholic's way against Westlake as Elyria Catholic made off with  a  14-5 victory. The result was nothing new for Elyria Catholic, who have now won five matches by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Harper Morgan looked comfortable as she  pitched 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned run off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jessica Conner, who  went 4-for-5 with two  triples, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Brooks, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 11  runs the game before, North Olmsted was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Buckeye. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs North Olmsted has scored all season.
 The  win (which was Elyria Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 7-3. As for North Olmsted, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 Elyria Catholic took their  victory against North Olmsted  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  13-2. Will Elyria Catholic repeat their success,  or does  North Olmsted have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
