Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rancho Mirage). Their defense stepped up to hand the West Shores Wildcats a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rattlers considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Their offense was hitting West Shores from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Jerome Carter led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Rancho Mirage's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2. As for West Shores, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Rancho Mirage has already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Upland on the 23rd. As for West Shores, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Palo Verde Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
