After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hughson, Gregori was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pitman Pride with a sharp 17-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Gregori got a massive performance out of Angela Stoner, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Pacheco, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Gregori kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 11 consecutive games.

Gregori is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Pitman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gregori beat Pitman by a score of 11-0 later that day.
