Baseball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hilltop on Friday, Delta came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Archbold Blue Streaks on Monday, falling 14-4. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Blue Streaks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Delta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Niner, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Archbold, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Delta will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Pettisville at 5:00 p.m. As for Archbold, they will head out on the road to challenge Edon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
