Volleyball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Kossuth

Kossuth waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Biggersville Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 23-25, 25-17, 25-9.

Leading Kossuth to victory were Chloe Clement and Dallyn Haupt. Clement had six digs and three aces, while Haupt had 20 kills, six aces, three digs, and one block. Haupt has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 18 times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Kossuth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Kossuth's record is now 14-3-2. As for Biggersville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Kossuth will venture away from home to challenge Hickory Flat at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Biggersville, they will square off against New Site at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
