Basketball Recap: Center Point Comes Up Short

Center Point and Hayden squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Center Point had to settle for second. They lost 67-44 to the Hayden Wildcats. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Center Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Hayden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Center Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hayden, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hayden Wildcats challenge the Springville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hayden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Springville likes a good challenge.
