Baseball Recap: Bath Takes a Loss

After flying high against Potterville on Monday, Bath came back down to earth. The Fighting Bees took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saranac Redhawks on Thursday. The Fighting Bees haven't had much luck with the Redhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Keegan Hunt was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Bath's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Saranac, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bath will take on Lansing Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saranac, they will host Pewamo-Westphalia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
