Benzie Central is a perfect 5-0 against Buckley since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will square off against the Bears at 4:15 p.m. Benzie Central's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Benzie Central came up short against St. Mary and fell 4-1.

Benzie Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Osborne, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Buckley hadn't done well against Roscommon recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bears skirted past the Bucks 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Landon Kulawiak, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Theron McEachren also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Benzie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Buckley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Benzie Central took their win against Buckley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
