Basketball Recap: Kenai Central Finds Playoff Glory Versus Valdez

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kenai Central had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They snuck past the Valdez Buccaneers with a 43-39 victory. The Kardinals haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Kenai Central pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Valdez, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
