Chace Hurley Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Pueblo South got the W thanks in part to Chace Hurley playing the best football he has all season. Hurley picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Pueblo South, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Hurley and Pueblo South will face off against Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Devon Baker and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Devon Baker was instrumental in extending Discovery Canyon's winning streak to four on Saturday. Baker did his part (and then some), picking up a sack and making four total tackles for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Discovery Canyon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caeden Herrera Delivers Electric Effort Vs Pueblo Centennial
Another Pueblo South player making an appearance on this list is Caeden Herrera. He threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes.
Pueblo Centennial had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Herrera it was a similar story. When Herrera last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he threw for 76 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards.
